Hey thanks for the review I appreciate your time and stuff, though this fanfic is pretty old and I have improved since then, particularly in characterization. Though this fanfic is based mostly on headcanons and such, I’m not denying my mistakes in it. As far as the whole pond thing, while it was pretty stupid Pickle Inspector isn’t the brightest of characters and he probably jumps to his imaginative conclusions more than his logical conclusions. I probably could’ve made that point in his character differently but it’s too late for that to be put into this fanfic.

And really I could be commenting on all the points you made but I don’t really feel like it because I know my mistakes and such

But as far as Droog and Inspector being nice to each other, they’ve been together for a while, so of course Droog’s gonna help him out and Inspector’s gonna be okay with it. And plus he’d probably be more happy to go along with Droog than with the team because they’d probably just tease him about his dumb mistake. And, well, you know, they’re boyfriends and everything.

While I had put thought into this fanfic for headcanons as far as their relationship went, I didn’t feel like including how it started and that’s alright too. It doesn’t have to include their whole relationship’s story.

Lastly, Aradia wasn’t trying to look at their sex life. If she was confused about all that she would probably want to see what they were doing, that doesn’t mean she’s trying to see that particularly.

I could probably be making points about more things I saw in your review but whatever I don’t want to make this too long

Thanks for the review though!

Fucking crossoververse crack pairings treated like they’re canon.

I want to thank you for taking the time to review my story and adding it to a community. It means a lot to me and I’m especially glad you got what I wanted the reader to pick up on. Not many do and sometimes, I fear the fault is mine.

Also, thanks for the reminder about the rating. I’ll be sure to check out those sites as soon as I get another laptop. I’m currently typing this out on my phone since my laptop ain’t much more than an expensive paperweight at the moment.

Thanks again, have a good one!

Thank you for the reviews on my two Homestuck fics. I’m so glad to have some concrit on these two fics in particular. I’m also happy to see somebody reviewing carapace fics, as they can get lost in the shuffle sometimes.

Anyway, I want to thank you for catching a few spelling/grammar errors I didn’t see, as well as some of your suggestions, like the deal in Out of Her Shell with the law.

The only thing is that I think there was a bit of, I guess you could say, a headcanon conflict? Now some of that could have been me – I was iffy about how to explain my headcanon in just the right amount. If I say nothing at all, it’ll make no sense. But if I sit around and explain too much, then I’m talking about stuff that has no relevance to the story and/or talking down to the reader. But I think a little bit of it was just plain ol’ conflict. The bit about carapacean evolution, for example. You said in your review that they shouldn’t have one. However, I believe that with a game that’s on a cosmic-scale like Sburb, it’s perfectly possible to have the biological “playing pieces” have an evolutionary history (though it’d be controlled by the Powers That Be to always have a certain outcome). When the Carapacean civilizations reach a certain level of technology, they create the cloning labs in order to create more of themselves in a big hurry…like for the Battlefield. At least that’s my headcanon until Hussie says different in no uncertain terms (keywords “no uncertain”)!

But getting back to the fics now, I think it might be feasible of me to remove some of the little references here and there – the bit about the Black Scepter for example. I actually had another fic planned for that thing in particular, though I never got around to it. It probably wouldn’t hurt anything if I just removed the reference from “Wishful Thinking,” and if I ever get around to writing the other fic, allow that to explain what the deal is with the scepter.

Thanks again for reviewing my fics! Some stuff will be easy to fix, though a few things may take awhile to hammer out. Good luck with NaNoWriMo!

Fucking headcanon.

Still not as bad as the whole pokemon thing where people argue about what a proper noun is, though.
