Last time, are the villains ever going to steal the heart fairies?
Ep25
Hikari realizes she’s a damsel in distress. Doesn’t seem like that’ll actually change.
Meanwhile among Team Evil, Villain Lady notes that two members have now disappeared suspiciously while fighting the girls, therefore continuing to attack as individuals is clearly the solution.
Ep26
This episode is about Sporty feeling insecure because the other kids know what they want to do with their life and she doesn’t. Also, her crush pops in for the festival. Nothing is resolved.
Ep27
End of summer episode. Sporty tried hard to finish everything, but of course it turns out she forgot something.
Villain lady continues to be alive. Good job, villain lady. Meanwhile, kid dark lord continues to want outside. Like the noble kitty, he stares plaintively out the window.
They’re harvesting pears and she shows up to snack on them, because hey, that’s the point right? Yes. Yes it is. Oh, villain lady. You are the most fun. Try to delay your inevitable death.
Ep28
Some weird body is forming under the water or something?
Okay, today’s episode is a ghost. Eventually first evil guy shows up, and they accuse him of it, but he’s got no clue. Then it turns out it was actually the princess of light, our newest OCM turned up to harass Porun. It’s about time someone made the brat miserable.
(It makes no sense because for a season and a half Porun’s obviously been an only child, but seriously, if it makes him miserable I’m good.)
Ep29
Of course, now it looks like there’ll be an episode about the newest annoyance being annoying, but it’s worth it to make Porun suffer.
Also hey, looks like everyone’s still alive on Team Evil, although the strongest one hasn’t reappeared. So maybe there won’t be deaths? On the one hand, that would be different than last season, on the other, wow this show has no pacing.
Now there’s a tiny pair of human siblings, and the slightly older one goes off to find what the slightly younger one lost, because in Japan unattended kids exist.
Also hey, new eyecatch.
And now the newest OCM is giving them yet another powerup, so currently, three powerups that have to be triggered, plus the fact the opening episode claimed they’ve been powered up in general. I guess without any other sign of plot progression, all that’s left is to hand out new powerups.
Well, at least girl OCM giving out the unnecessary powerup is just irritating and not boy-taking-over-magical-girl-show irritating.
And we conclude with the human siblings reuniting and I guess Porun getting a better appreciation of his sister.
Ep30
It’s probably wrong how much I’m enjoying Porun try to escape his sister.
Now kid dark king is spying through a keyhole on his servant for some reason.
Huh, this time the girls are doing absolutely terrible for some reason. Lucky the villain guy taunts them about murdering the tiniest OCM for motivation or they’d probably have lost.
And huh, looks like last episode’s powerup was incomplete, so now it’s super powerup for real.
Ep31
Hey,remember that body forming? Now it’s moving. And I guess it’s super villain guy, who apparently was pretty inconvenienced by his fight. And yet last episode the first villain guy went head to head with them at max powerups and didn’t seem nearly as messed up by it.
Perhaps fittingly, this episode’s main conflict is that Sporty’s lacrosse team might lose.
And now Team Evil teleported her to an alternate dimension of the stadium for a fight while the regular match continues. Then Sporty argues that they should let her go back because it’s super important. Team Evil attempts to explain the whole everyone-will-die thing and how this means the outcome of one game kiiinda doesn’t matter and Sporty flips out and tries to attack them barehanded for saying the game isn’t that important.
Then at the end Sporty manages the winning shot despite the fact her plan was to switch positions and have someone else do the scoring for once. Really now.
Ep32
So odango are made from rice? says Sporty in amazement. God, kid. Know your own surroundings.
Then randomly evil team lady shows up and informs them that by the way, superpowered evil guy has recovered. Thanks for the update, villain lady. She explains this was done by healing inside the dark king’s body, so, uh, guess that’s what was going on?
Ep33
Sporty’s birthday and continued inability to talk to her crush. Then finally she’s midway through stammering it out, and right on cue the big dumb evil shows up, which of course make her crush unconscious. Then in the end she can’t do it.
Ep34
Hey, their field trip has separated them from queengirl and her powerups. I wonder if this will matter. Sporty seems oblivious because she’s too busy thinking historical stuff is the coolest ever. Given she apparently didn’t even know what food was made of, I’m glad she has an interest she actually knows about.
Hm, looks like instead the issue is queengirl separated from the fighters, since once again the school appears haunted. And now a heart fairy is talking about truth getting closer, and we know the butler things can’t find their child king, so I guess he’s stalking her.
Meanwhile, the kids are pillowfighting while acting out some superhero show.
Okay, villain has appeared in front of the main girls instead and they’re doing their usual how-can-you-damage-these-precious-things when there won’t be any actual damage. Also, their queengirl with her powerups showed up anyway. Dammit.
Ep35
Queengirl gets yelled at for showing up by the teacher.
Heart fairy continues to talk about the truth. Given that also, no one’s died at all, I’m thinking we might actually be going for some peaceful resolution after all.
The battle scenes make less sense by the episode. Today, concerned for their friend, the two girls decide to finish the battle by shouting their ultimate attack so the guy defends, but not actually using it and then running away. It’s funny but wouldn’t it be just as fast to actually blast him?
Team Evil continues to mamabear their leader, but it looks like yeah, resolution is both groups becoming friends because queengirl looks way too upset they ran off with him.
Ep36
My glee at Porun’s suffering continues!
You know, the two of them make much better OCMs. They’re actually children, so there isn’t that weird half and half thing the other two have going on. Porun is really annoying, but his sister is more annoying while only aiming that annoyance at Porun, so I end up satisfied.
In this episode the two are found by some little kid and have to pretend to be toys, as is contractually mandated in any anime that involves vaguely toylike creatures.
