Let. It. Go.
I have been on the receiving end of your lecture about capitalization before,
though the particular story reviewed was deleted and reposted (leaving it
mercifully free of your “review”), and I have no particular desire to hear it
again.
I am, quite frankly, sick to death of seeing you post this same exact thing on
numerous Pokémon stories. This is your opinion. Many people disagree with
you. You say it like the Word of God, yet in the end it is merely your
opinion.
Pokémon names are not only made-up words; they are a made-up category of
words. Their capitalization, therefore, does not necessarily follow your tired
comparisons.
Hmm, there’s some doubt as to whether or not you’d use the word “Charizard”
like the word “mouse.” Where on Earth would we look to clear up such
confusion…?
Oh, right. The games, official texts, the anime. And guess how they capitalize
the names?
No one is going to change his or her mind about capitalization because you
post that, just like I don’t expect you to change yours because of this. So do
everyone a favor and STOP REPEATING THIS SAME DRECK ON EVERY POKÉMON STORY
YOU READ.
This many times and you’re just banging your head against a wall to no effect
except annoying the people on the other side (such as me). Let it go.
I reserve the right, also, to use artistic license and capitalize anything I
want if I believe it better expresses the Pokémon world whence the story
arises.
I wish I could delete your review, or the first half of it anyway. Thanks ever
so much for clogging up my space with the same pigheaded tripe I have the
recurring misfortune of seeing from you on other writers’ stories.

And I’m left with a warm glow at thought I’ve made this person’s day just that little bit worse. Life is good.
Wow and you were actually nice to her.
But I said a thing she disagrees with, therefore I’m violating her author rights to only have approved feedback on her stories.
You should start throwing that “Pilot” quote from B/W at people and daring them to continue saying that the in-game capitalization rules make the slightest degree of sense.
The sad part is that some still won’t see why that’s wrong.
Yes, I fear a new wave of Capitalizing.
…The sad part is that you’re right.
It’s things like this that make me lose faith in humanity.
