Good stuff.

Sorry about that! The only reason I capitalise Pokemon names is because that’s how it’s done everywhere else I look. :) Thanks for pointing all of that out for me, by the way! It was very helpful :) Thanks for taking your time to give me the critique :) |
Well, now I’m scared. Bizarro world has well and truly taken over. What if I can never return to the real-
Wait, no, that’s good.

But really, I understand your confusion. I’m not the best writer in the world; nor will I ever be 100% perfect or understandable. :) |

Ah, you can actually see things sliding back to normality here.
They’re unwilling to be baited into finding out if the whole “you wouldn’t like it if someone did this to you!!!” thing is true.

I will take your advice to heart. However, I disagree with you on the humor part. I think that humor is a bit subjective, so I don’t think you can just say something isn’t funny like it’s a fact. And as for the title, well, I didn’t know what else to call it. Do you? No, I’m not being sarcastic, I really have no idea what a more appropriate name would be. |

I appreciate your constructive critism! Though it was quite confusing with the first paragraph Ah, I noticed there’s two ways on fanfiction to write the names of Pokemon. Most people capitalize the first letter, like they do in the games. Others don’t. I believe that the Pokemon species are capitalized, since it is technically their name. In the game, you have an option to nickname your Pokemon or keep it how it is with their original name. And since names are capitalized, so are the Pokemon’s names. I appreciate your constructive critism and opinion. Thank you so much for spending some of your time to write it for me. Hope you have a great day!~ :D |

You pointed out the one thing I wa shaky about when I wrote this. I had to have Waverly go back to the house alone to finish out the plot line. I like your review here, seeing as youre the first person thats ever given me negative criticism. Thank you for that. |

See HERE, now, Farla. It’s up to the READER to decide. Apparently you don’t have any imagination, or you wouldn’t have written down such a MORBID review. Don’t you think that you’d hurt Lunara’s feelings? If you don’t like it, FINE–but don’t be so CRITICAL about it! At least give some CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM to help her out. If you can’t do that, then perhaps you shouldn’t have even reviewed the story in the first place. |
| Flamefox2 | re: Your review to qUiEt |

Of course, criticism is critical, but you didn’t leave any POSITIVE input, or any good comment AT ALL. You just talked about how bad it was, and pointed out weaknesses, practically KILLING Lunara like a knight can kill a helpless baby. If you’re going to hate, at least cushion the bad criticism a little. |

Heh, I know. The main point was to build suspense (which I failed at miserably). My first attempt at a horror story. I’ll try to improve on the next one I write (if I make another horror story). |

Nevertheless, I appreciate you fixing my little error there, and with your review I can learn from this and (hopefully) improve my projects in the future. Though some of the story could be read through interpretation, some of it is symbolism, but I agree, this whole thing was pretty slow and rough. …And the worst part is, I’m planning to write a creepypasta…this cannot end well. XD Nah, I’m kidding, but I might do it… |

Thank you so much! I will take your constructive criticism seriously, but for the moment, I have no time. ^.^” Homework, tests, and studies need to be taken first. (Though I usually do it at midnight, I need to get it done today because I’m not going to school tomorrow and I have got a lot of work to do…) Thank you again for your constructive criticism and patients! |

… Wow. Thanks for taking the time to review my story with such… Intensity? That probably sounds sarcastic but I mean it. :) It means a lot to me that you took so much time out of your day to write all that. I don’t really get good, constructive reviews and I’m not creeped out or scared by most things so these were all written haphazardly. I cringed at my own usage of ‘it’s coming for me’ but wanted to leave it in as ‘the journal’ way of writing left it hard to explain what happened. As far as arbok goes, from it’s pokedex entry saying that it ‘never gives up the chase’ it became a symbol of death and the inevitable. You’re right, though. The forest part was good on it’s own. And… Oh holy smokes you reviewed all of them… Okay, so ‘What Was Lost’: King of Infinity: Low Expectations: I know that you wouldn’t capitalize the names of pokemon and I often go with those rules, however, I like the way the capital separates the name of the pokemon. It’s always capitalized in the game and I rather prefer it that way. I have a tendency to capitalize ‘professor’ too for the same reason, though that I typically correct that (when/if I see it.) Whew- alright. Again, thank you very much for the reviews! I really appreciate them all! Sorry if my response seems very ‘eeh, it’s fine’ because I can tell that you’re a very serious reader/editor/writer. While I admire your dedication and that of others like you. Unfortunately I am not like that and, mostly, I just like writing for fun and whoever enjoys it, enjoys it. :) So I hope that you at least enjoyed reading! |

And bonus Homestuck fun!

The characters in the story ARE the homestuck kids, in case you haven’t realized. Or that you haven’t read far enough to be able to tell. You are completely missing the point of my story. This is a horror AU. You could at least finish reading the later chapters before commenting. You should at least give it some thought before shouting at ME about how DIFFERENT my characters are. That is the point of an AU. For example, Dave possesses traits of albinism in canon, having blond hair and red eyes. Albinism causes loss of pigmentation, especially in the eyes, which in some cases will cause blindness. The AU I am writing is a medical horror AU, and I do know my facts. The AU characters will have different traits, but they have the same personality. The conversations between Rose and Dirk are a fact. I have also incorporated ships that are widely viewed as canon. By challenging my writing, you are also challenging my interpretation of characters AU-wise. Canon may be canon, but not all fanfics have to be strictly adhering to canon. By challenging my AU interpretation, you are also challenging a sizeable number of RP blogs, artists and writers. Check your privilege. I have also taken a glance at your own stories. Your newly updated Homestuck fic has nothing to do with Homestuck either, given your interpretation of mine. As to why you are commenting on my story, which has more to do with Homestuck than yours, remains a mystery to me. Bingo. If they’re unrecognizable, then you’ve failed. [Your newly updated Homestuck fic has nothing to do with Homestuck either, given your interpretation of mine.] Did you miss where I very clearly said “setting”? I’m also interested in hearing more about how Jack Noir was so OOC he was unrecognizable save for his name. My fanfic would get me slapped with a C&D order if I tried publishing it as original. Like I’ve said before, my writing style, especially for horror stories, is to only reveal the true identities of the characters at a later time. That is to create mystery. Therefore, it is perfectly legitimate, as the story has not progressed enough to reveal them all. You missed that point. This is my own writing style, and you do not have the power to use my style as your point. This is my own writing style, and you do not have the power to use my style as your point. [Did you miss where I very clearly said “setting”?] Did you miss where you said very clearly ‘characters’? If you’re not interested in the Homestuck kids, then fine. Also, your story has received a sizeable portion of negative reviews. Though they were about your writing style, which I can understand, I would like to also point out that your first chapter was like mine, in the sense that it was also vague. [Did you miss where you said very clearly ‘characters’?] OR does not mean AND. What the ** is wrong with you, this is so far beyond grasping at straws now. And here’s my turn to ask what the ** is wrong with YOU. It does appear to ME that YOU are ALSO grasping at straws. I had to straighten out several easy concepts for you, and you still choose to misinterpret them If you are able, I request that you remove your review. It is extremely offensive. |
Oh my god. Homestuck, I take back everything mean I said, you guys are way more hilarious than pokeauthors could ever be.
Bask in this while you can, I probably won’t be responding to PMs during the review month proper and that seems to be necessary for the really gold bits.
