Last time, I hit up the three caverns I know about and get two legendaries.
Hm. Exploring in the vicinity of the cave of emptiness, I find a bit of water on Route 22 that leads to quite a bit of waterfall. There’s an ace trainer who’s now far too low level for me and cheerfully says I crushed her to bits, and a tree giving tanga berries. And there’s a bit of boulder puzzle that, while hard to screw up, does involve a lot of running around to get it from the right angles. I’m rewarded with the earthquake TM.
Jumping across some stones, I find the cave and some long grass.
And hey, an azumarill.
Its long ears are superb sensors. It can distinquish the movements of living things on riverbeds.
I’ll take Zygarde with me this time.
Another ace trainer, similarly low leveled compared to me now, is in front of the cave.
In the Chamber of Emptiness, I find a spooky plate but nothing else. So this and the sea one presumably have event flags involved.
I guess all that’s left is where the professor wants me to go. So to Lumiose. And to the train.
Now I’m in Kiloude.
Some kid quizes me on the pokedex and gives a max revive for answering right. Leaving the station, some other guy runs over. You wouldn’t happen to be Serena, would you? I saw you in the parade.
I have the option of lying, but why would I do something like that.
I knew it! You’re everything I’d expect someone who holds the Honor of Kalos to be! I’m so grateful to you for stopping Team Flare! Please take this small token of my appreciation.
So…I get a Vs. Recorder.
Further in, there’s an ace trainer who’s kind of clever. It starts off with him asking about ways to negate levitate and it’s annoying because you’re not actually getting quizzed but just agreeing. Then he reveals that actually, he was asking so he’d be prepared to deal with people trying to mess up his pokemon’s levitate ability.
And then the idiot uses gravity and everything dies to earthquake.
Hm. I thought I was completely preprared for anti-Levitate tactics… But in real battles, things never go quite as smoothly as you expect. Or mayve you’re just that good!
No, you’re just an idiot who used gravity for no reason.
In another house, a pink girl says, The Pokemon Kyurem… Doesn’t anyone have it? so I guess something happens if you bring it. Above, there’s some Flare idiot. Hmm? You’re–?! Our secret HQ went up in flares because of you! That’s right… But, well, at least Team Flare went out with style… Though that was no kinda style, huh? The way we tried to save ourselves… Just leaving everyone else to burn…
Um. Are you talking about Team Flare’s plan or describing what was going on once he decided to launch weapon at you guys?
I thought it over and over again, like thinking was going out of style…And, in the end, I think the world’d be pretty dull if everyone was all the same. I don’t wanna cramp anyone’s style anymore…
There’s also Friend Safari! I try out a psychic one.
Drowzee.
Puts enemies to sleep, then eats their dreams. Occasionally gets sick from eating only bad dreams.
Xatu.
Once it begins to meditate at sunrise, the entire day will pass before it will move again.
Act is apparently fighting, so…
Mankey.
It’s unsafe to approach if it gets violently enraged for no reason and can’t distinqish friends from foes.
Unlike everyone else, who are safe to approach when they get violently enraged for no reason and can’t distinqish friends from foes. Dammit, proofreaders.
Throh.
When it tightens its belt, it becomes stronger. Wild Throh use vines to weave their own belts.
Let’s try water.
Wartortle, which I’m quite good on. And wartortle and wartortle and wartorle and…panpour, nope.
Electric.
Zebstrika.
When this ill-tempered Pokemon runs wild, it shoots lighting from its mane in all directions.
Then it’s electric lizard and fairy not-pikachu.
Fire.
Ponyta.
As a newborn, it can barely stand.
However, through galloping, its
legs are made tougher and faster.
And charmeleon.
Fairy.
Not-pikachu again.
Clefairy.
It is said that happiness will come to those who see a gathering of Clefairy dancing under a full moon.
Jigglypuff.
It captivates foes with its huge, round eyes, then lulls them to sleep by singing a soothing melody.
Kecleon.
And my ivysaur is evolving! 3D is not kind to it, showing off its stunted hindlimbs as it spins.
By spreading the broad petals of its flower and catching the sun’s rays, it fills its body with power.
Teddiursa.
If it finds honey, its crescent mark glows. It always licks its paws because they’re soaked with honey.
I think I’ll put that on my team for the moment to replace my venusaur.
On to grass.
Swadloon.
Forests where swadloon live have superb foliage because the nutrients they make from fallen leaves nourish the plant life.
Quilladrin. And pansage.
Dragon.
Shelgon! And she’s a girl, too.
Within its rugged shell, its cells have begun changing. The shell peels off the instant it evolves.
Sliggoo.
The final possibility, according to Serebii, is gabite or fraxture, which doesn’t matter because I’ve been traded them both.
On to ice.
A million delibirds.
Beartic.
They love the cold seas of the north. They create pathways across the ocean waters by freezing their own breath.
If polar bears could do that they wouldn’t be going extinct!
Hey, Zygarde just leveled up at last. And my lavitar’s evolving into pupitar.
So, I guess I need more friends. Let’s turn on internet again.
