Ah, but you see; I wrote the story 3 years ago so really I’m the original one
here now aren’t I? 8-)
What’s funny is that you’re treating me like this is my first Fanfic (I guess
in a sense it may have been). Trust me, I’ve made MANY accounts on here and
your thing is not that impressive to me. Please, if you don’t like creation,
stay away from my reviews.
Thank you.

Sweet. Thank you for pointing those out! I’ve corrected them already. Hope I
didn’t screw up again asdfghjkl;
As for ‘Broken’ being not a story… I have no excuses.
Thanks again for reviewing and pointing out my mistakes. It was really
helpful!

Subject: Regarding the review of “The Villain”
A response to your review at http://www.fanfiction.net/r/7770491/
Hey!
Thanks for your review – it’s always good to learn a few things about the
English language, or get reminded of things I temporarily forgot such as not
needing to capitalize a species of Pokémon. I’ll keep that in mind as I
continue on. :p As for the dialogue lesson, I appreciate it. The sentence you
wanted to point out was something I’d never done before but always wanted to,
so I’m glad to know where to go from there.
As for the rest, I suppose opinions are opinions. I’m not entirely sure of how
everything revolves around my character, though – I mean, she’s getting
interviewed after stealing clothes, so in that part it’s obviously necessary
for it to be about her. After that, though, she’s just cleaning up in a park.
None of it’s really about her, per se. I mean, Mary Sue, Adam Stu, and Steve
do talk to her and ask questions and the like, but it’s nothing that anyone
wouldn’t do to a new person in town. As for Adam Stu picking on Mary Sue, I
don’t recall him ever doing so in the story. I’m a huge feminist supporter, so
if there’s some misogynistic element to the story I’d love to get it
addressed. :p
Regardless, thanks for the review. I really appreciate it.

And this just depresses me.

Thank you for your honesty. I know it sucks. I’m going to take it down too. As
for the title, I forgot about that. I’m not going to attempt oneshots like
this again. Thanks again for your honesty.

Ya know, ya didn’ have ta be so critical over everythin’. Ya don’ like my
story, then don’ read it. Also, yeah, I know the rules over Nuzlocke. Why do
ya think I place the fic as a TRAGEDY? I already plan on there bein’ plenty of
deaths.
As for centerin’ the story, who cares if it’s annoyin’ ta read? YOU seem ta be
the ONLY one that is bugged by it. I’ve yet ta have found another that has
complained & ta be honest, I don’ care. Others like my work & that’s what
matters ta me. Not your whinin’.
As for Shadow? Anyone that knows about Shadow & Kira, knows the story about
why they’re together. He wasn’ randomly found. The reason behind his odd
colorin’ is also an effect from his parents cause only one of them had been a
Weavile while the other had been a different pokemon entirely. Plus, his odd
colorin’ only goes as far as his eyes bein’ icy blue rather than red & his
claws being crimson, not white.
Yes, I forgot spell check. Don’ berate me about my spellin’ of just ONE word
when countless people on this site misspell all the damn time in their work.
As for the jumping between different first person views, it’s only gonna be
between Kira, Aaron, & Kira’s rival that gets that. I wanted people ta see
what they end up thinkin’ through their eyes & all. It’s normal ta do that.
Also, a filler? Doin’ the openin’ of the game is how a Nuzlocke is supposed ta
work sp stop your pointless bickerin’.
Again, if ya don’ like it, DON’ read my damn work.

“Ah, but you see; I wrote the story 3 years ago so really I’m the original onehere now aren’t I? 8-)”
This is almost cute.
It’s the Yamato-san defense! Readers matter not.
Little Tsu…
:applause: You transcribed your accents like a boss and defended your story with precision awesome. I may have to read the story of someone who can stand up for themselves and their work the way you do.
…then why haven’t you reviewed them to say their story’s great? I mean, that’s kinda the point of posting stuff for people to see.
…there are actually people who meticulously write out their own accent in personal communication?
Kind of saddened by people not getting the objection to Nuzlocke fanfics. Do they ever make any kind of an attempt to morally justify their character’s choice to travel around with a team of loyal Pokémon, repeatedly risking their lives in order to murder other people’s loyal Pokémon? No matter how I try to slice it, the only way I can mentally get Nuzlocke-fic going is if a) most/all people including the main character view Pokémon as things to battle with and not living creatures one should /care/ about, which removes all the emotional impact that makes people find Nuzlockes appealing in the first place in addition to making everyone horribly unsympathetic, b) most people view Pokémon as things to battle with but the main character slowly grows to care about them, in which case they should quit training after the first emotional Pokémon death at the absolute latest, or c) everyone is somehow being forced into it, in which case the main character must either be a psychopath or spend the fic doing everything in their power to avoid having to battle (…huh, this sounds amusingly like The Hunger Games, now that I articulate it). Any actual full run through the game under Nuzlocke rules in a fanfic seems necessarily absurd.
Now to resist the urge to write The Nuzlocke Games.
The couple I’ve seen that were retrospectives seemed to have it just be the main character’s pokemon who died. But that just raises further issues!
I think what could be interesting is, instead of an actual run, people wrote a fanfic where their character won and lost normally, but at points where the pokemon fainted in the game, the pokemon died.
