Last time, I decide my avatar has too much of her own personality to be me and decide to try playing this under pacifist rules for her.
Ah, and only a few restarts to get a female, excellent. I’m also going to try to get all female pokemon this game.
Last time, finished with the forest!
I make it to the pokecenter, only for Orange to show up and explain them to me. And apparently they’re keeping the combined center/mart aspect. But anyway, now Bunnelby the dumb is on my team too. (more…)
Last time, first badge! At the gate outside, the stopping-me dialogue repeats until she sees I do have the badge.
Okay, time to explore Lumiose! (And avoid saving any more just in case it’s chance that makes the bug kill games.)
Last time, crazy villain flamehair and his creepy conversation with popular actor lady!
The people in this cafe appear to actually be at one because they like drinking coffee and most of the conversation is about that. How interesting.
Camphrier Town
A town where you can taste the ages.
Okay, so the guy at the start of the pathway to the mansion said the way back was harder, but it’s really a very optional harder. Still, into the tall grass! It’s extra tall and very nice looking. I’m reliving my found memories of running around in marshes when I was little. (more…)
Last time, the daycare! Also backtracking and evolution.
Last time, I took a shortcut through a cave that was actually a shortcut, and also got a new pokedex despite that making no sense.
Time for the gym!
First, to the clothes store to get outfits for the gym! (more…)
I’m on the next route and a horde of nidoran appear, mostly males with one female. I pick the female to catch, since presumably she’s the rarer one.
Although small, its venomous barbs render this Pokemon dangerous. The female has smaller horns.
And here we are back where we started. The female nidoran doesn’t even get her own pokedex entry, and what she has is about how she sucks compared to the regular nidoran.
Last time, I saw some mysterious stones I couldn’t interact with, then reached a new town.
Today, Geosenge Town! (more…)
Last time, going through a cave! (more…)
