Not much today…or not much yet, but I want to get this batch out of the way so I can start the next review batch.
Dude, I just got started on my fanfiction. There will be more chapters to come soon and I will add some more characters that are from the game but not in the anime. Nobody’s perfect at language arts, but I am still good at English II; however, I am currently at 10th grade. Plus, I have autism and sometimes I am not perfect. It does not matter, but I am still making new chapters for this fanfiction; so sit tight and wait, please. I am trying to be the nice guy. ;)
One day it’ll sink into people’s heads that just because whimpering about your disorder that makes you shun human contact and hang out on the internet instead works in real life doesn’t mean it’s anything special on the internet.
One day.

Thank you. It has been quite some time since I’ve had my grammar pointed out, so I’ve forgotten exactly how bad it is. I apologize for the millions of mistakes, in both this chapter (which I will edit as soon as I can) and the future chapters which I’ll also edit to be rid of those bugs.
So once again, thank you for reading and pointing out my mistakes. I hope the future chapters are just as interesting and (hopefully) less error-prone than this one.

Thank you for your input I will take this into consideration and modify future chapters and the SYOC is meant for reader involvement in the story
Sorry but I’m just a high-school student not someone that has a PhD in English language. Also, I wouldn’t offering someone to beta read the story for these little mistakes I may have made.

I have just finished editing out all “()” but I don’t think I’ll be able to find all the grammar mistakes I will try though and I’ll also do my best to avoid them in future chapters and I’ll ask my beta reader to check for more errors (I’m confident in him since he proofreads college essays) and the reason for these errors is that I only found my proofreader yesterday and he didn’t get to check chapters 1 and 2
Thank you so much for your comment! :D I have learned a lot from it, even though it was probably never meant to encourage someone. I know that opening a story is horribly cliche already just like you said, but my story is entirely based from the Pokémon games, the first one to be specific, and if you have played it (which I have full confidence that you already have) the game starts with the main character in his/her room, probably just finished playing a video game or just WOKE up. Anyway, that’s on my perspective of things, and if you have a problem with that, I understand. Also, I have visited your profile long before you reviewed my story and learned that you have a lot of haters, which I can see why, but please let that not distract you from your goal, like how I was not discouraged by your comment. Also, I’m not quite sure if you know this but I am only fifteen years old and just begun to write so I could see why you have many negative thoughts on my story. Although I’m not sure if you’re still reading this or went to another page but I hope that we can be friends. Again thank you so much! Also, if you visit Bulbapedia, you will learn that Pokémon names like Bulbasaur or Pikachu are capitalized all of time, and that’s coming from a knowledge website. Also, I clearly do not remember using any thing like “Hello.” She said or “Hello.” she said or “Hello,” She said or “Hello” she said. I have already read that line in one of your comments to another story so its not going to help me one bit. :D
Thanks for the review.
The reason I capitalize the names of Pokemon is because unlike animals, Pokemon can’t be defined into exact groups. There are severla types of bears and snakes right? Each Pokemon has their own category and it would sound weird if I categorized them by type or region.
Please keep up with the reviews~

My, my… Thanks for the review… I guess?
Just so you know, some authors like to capitalize the names of pokemon simply because they are creatures of a fantasy world. You don’t need to patronize me with the grammar lessons. (I have a degree in English and am aware of which words in the real English language should be capitalized.) They’re not animals that exist in our real world, so how can you say that the grammatical rules of our real world must apply? Different strokes for different folks, I like to say…
And I didn’t misuse any “five-dollar” words in that noted sentence. (Personally I don’t attach any monetary value to the words I write. The sole value of my writing is the joy of expression it provides me. Anyway, every word there implies the meaning I intended.
As for this: “Sean couldn’t help but smirk at the tongue-in-cheek implication of how pretentious and complicated he sometimes came off as being.”
Can’t say I see anything wrong with that sentence either. A difference in phrasing styles, perhaps?
And I am GLAD that you found the dialogue stilted and awkward! It’s only natural, because I MEANT for many of my characters to be socially inept and unused to carrying normal conversation! Many of them are loners who have had little to ZERO experience with normal human relationships (or have had their perspectives twisted and warped by unspeakable traumas, or are just plain crazy). So don’t just blame their social dysfunction on the author, please! Yes, I know some of them are awfully strange (I’m looking at YOU, Inkina!)… but that’s what makes them endearing… to me at least… haha!
Look, Act, someone’s helping devalue your degree!

First off only your last three things you said i actually care about. [ basking in the unconditioned authority he held. ], that was a small mistake, and [My mind went into overdrive, surly there must be something I could do, anything even. All I needed to do was to stop the man. Surly, how hard could it be ] and again, really only one spelling mistake. Finally the [“You hit got the money in the pot, ] was again, a mistake. I am no spelling genius and often need to use word check to fix my errors and theses small things often slip past it and before i publish i read my story for these things and even then they get past.
What your reviewing is not constrictive feedback in my eyes, constructive feedback is something along the lines of “Hey this was great but i spotted a few things here. Mind fixing them?” I don’t even know what to call your feedback really, its like taking a small beating from a group of thugs then being spat on, it would be easier to direct me to a Wikipedia page or something of the sorts. Also if i remember correctly i think i stated at the bottom that this story was a spur of the moment and will be updated when i feel like it, its not a main story and i don’t see the reason to get my beta reader to read it.
As for the lessons on speech and capitalization i couldn’t care if i got it wrong, i’m still learning and so are other people so unless they brag about it be nice, people have miles to go before they are great. I think a very small about of people will actually care about capitalization when it comes to Pokemon, they came here to read stories and get dragged to the depths of it, not critique capitalization and speech.
That is all, good day.

You know you could just keep it simple and tell me to keep a better watch on my capitalization and not use semicolons too much.
Would’ve saved both of us a lot of time
