“well sorry if Volac makes my character look like a mary sue. shiny

special reason for N being a girl. I just like the pairing and decided
to make it as if N was born a girl instead of a boy. No special
reasoning at all.
hey Farla! I’m Pikachaaaa! I’m writing a collab with Gara316, and let
me tell you, the grammar is absolutely terrible! I’m gonna try to help
Gara with grammar and stuff, but thanks for taking time to review.
So I have seen you around before, and while the majority of your reviews
are very constructive, some are a bit rude. I did see you on my
friend’s story, and while it was extremely helpful, it was confusing. So
when you review, please get to the point! It will make more sense.
But other than that, I just want to thank you for taking your time and trying to help others improve!

Thanks for the CC. I was basically writing it the way I was taught.
And I mainly wrote it because it was requested. Heavily.
the two dragons myth that were central to the storyline of black/white will be featured as part of a history exhibit.
the myth originates from a culture that is parallel to native
americans, the reason the arceus worshippers are so dominant will also be
explained.
well sorry if Volac makes my character look like a mary sue. shiny
hydreigons look awesome in the first place, and once volac evolves, you’ll
know what i’m talking about.
the invented charges thing with andrea will have an explanation.you’ll just have to wait and see.
i suck at introductions, and this is my first story,so I apologize for the quality.
you seem to think luke is”a ridiculous bully stereotype”. well,i’m no
good at creating bully characters because they all fall into the same
archetype:they always choose their targets based off how “different”they
are.
the battle was,in my opinion, not thoroughly explained. it was just thrown in to give the chapter some redeeming value
finally, the reason i chose unova as my region was because i found that a
region based on america would fit my story much better than a region
based off,say,france,but it’s your opinion.
let me guess, you think it was as bad as attack of mewtwo. well this is
my first time here,so don’t expect to see alphabet soup from me.
Thanks for the review and all the interesting facts!
At the time I only had access to the japensese version and it is mostly
identical except for the names of the people which I changed to the
English version.

I do not take kindly to insults like yours, so do us all a favour and
buzz off! No one is really asking you to read my story so leave
reviewing to people who actually like my story.
Thanks again.
Ah! Hmmm…after looking up the meaning of “explicable” (I’m an idiot), I
understand what you mean. In a real situation, Crimson wouldn’t have
figured things out as quickly as he did. Ah…I guess my excuse is that
it was kind of obvious after getting that bit of memory back and seeing
the pictures of Pokemon on the wall. Then again, you’re probably
right… And I’d like for this story to be a bit dark and comical at the
same time, which is why Red is as he is since there’s really no other
way to be before getting your first Pokemon.
And about the semicolon thing, well, I’ve actually never thought of it
like that. I sometimes just use it as to not make a simple sentence too,
y’know…short? Dull? I don’t know…
Anyway, thanks for the constructive criticism (it actually surprised me
at first because I don’t usually get criticism at all!). And I hope you
liked and will continue reading my fic! (*^﹏^*)

Thank you for taking the time and having the patience to write this
review. I’m already looking at the first chapter to get all the grammar
mistakes corrected. Sorry if my English is a bit bad, I’m not a native
English speaker. I’m going to delete your review since it’s a bit
outdated as of the latest update to the story and it could scare away
readers because they might get the impression is pointless. I split the
game into sections, since as you can see the second chapter is Nuvema
Town, indicating it will cover everything that happens in Nuvema Town,
this was merely a literized version of what happens in the Introduction.
Thank you for your comprehension, I’ll clarify that in the first
chapter.

Actually turns out I can’t delete it, so I would like to ask that you delete it. Thanks, I hope you understand.
I want to make myself as abundantly clear as I possibly can. I fucking
love getting these kinds of reviews. I cannot stand the “Oh my God, this
story is like the fucking fanfiction equivalent of Paradise Lost” kind
of review because it has no substance and basically shows that only
idiots are currently reading (And I have been guilty of this stuff at
one point) I’m gonna admit, this story is subpar, they say to be one’s
own harshest critic and well fuck, I messed that up. I’m gonna have to
do quite a bit of revisions before I’m even gonna think about adding to
this story. So in short, thanks for giving what I can consider the best
review I’ve ever gotten on this sight and giving a few what to do and
not to do pointers.
Thanks.
~Dialogue is written as “Hello,” she said or “Hello!” she said, never “Hello.” She said or “Hello.” she said or “Hello,” She said or “Hello” she said~
I’m sorry? That was all pretty much the same ‘ol stuff said over and over again. “Hello!” she said- would never work. Even people in first grade know that when ending a sentence, you always use a capital letter starting your next one. It would have to be “Hello!” She said.
~never “Hello.” She said~
Why the heck not? That is a correct way to write that.
Enough with that crap, shall we go on to the next wrong thing you said?
~You wouldn’t capitalize animal or mouse or dragon, so you shouldn’t capitalize words like pokemon or pikachu or charizard. The only time you should capitalize it is if you’re using it as the pokemon’s name, ie, Ash’s pikachu is called Pikachu. This is because you only capitalize when it’s a proper noun, which are the names of places or things. Similar reasoning should be applied to any other words you’re thinking of capitalizing, like telephone or trainer. Or professor.~
WONG! You always capitalize Pokemon, as it is a PROPER noun. And yes, you do capitalize Charizard, Squirtle, and Professor (in the case it is used like Professor Oak). Do you know ANYTHING about Pokemon?
~Seriously? Two of those are not like the others. Even if you’re trying to keep to Kanto pokemon only, there’s other pokemon that aren’t right next to Pallet.
Anyway, like most of the wake up get pokemon chapters, that was entirely pointless. Start your story where your plot starts, no one is going to be baffled by how your trainer has a pokemon if you fail to show them handed one by a professor.~
Again, see that little red line under the word when you write pokemon? Well, right click, and it will tell you that it should be spelled Pokemon, because that is the correct way to write it. Seriously? You’re SERIOUSLY going to criticize her on THAT? Get a life! She needed two more Pokemon, and chose those two! Get over it! Are you dumb? Did you even read the chapter? Waking up IS where her plot starts! I don’t even know what to say to you. I hope you don’t have any stories, because your common sense and IQ total about -500.
Was the story a bit bad written? Yes, yes it was.
Did the grammar suck? At times.
Was it the best book I have ever read? No, not at all.
But you need to calm down. This was her first story and she is not perfect. Calm down and stop acting like you know everything. You didn’t write the book, and you didn’t like it, so why pick on it? It’s not like she’s going to change it just for you!
Good day,
-Ivy
But don’t feel sad, little first grader! You’d have to be all the way in fourth grade or so before this sort of a gaffe would make you look like an idiot.
Now go try the google trick out on the phrase “proper noun” so you can learn that the definition is a bit stricter than “whatever word I was capitalizing”.
I’m not a first grader. I was comparing you to one, in which case they know way more than you.
I don’t even know what to say.
You have made me speechless with your utter stupidity.

One last word I have to say about you. Given how you treated me when I reviewed Pokemon
Revolution and given how you keep insisting that I can’t think that I’m correct on my own
spelling…
You are pathetically arrogant.
——————–
“”Hello!” she said- would never work.”
God-fucking-dammit. Just fucking google things. JUST GOOGLE THEM. In that author’s own words . . .
“WONG!”
Yeah, I just Googled ~punctuating dialog~ and got 2.98 million hits. Not an obscure topic!
The number one hit was a professional editor’s blog that confirmed what we all know to be true.
Ever since I found this website all of two days ago, the “not “hello.” she said” correction paragraph always seem just awful when trying to read it. I already know that rule, but seeing “hello” and a bunch of punctuation marks over and over again makes it very confusing. The paragraph needs a revision if it’s going to help people understand the rule.
If you have a better way of wording the paragraph, write it for me and I’ll replace my current one.
7.65x54R -Holy attack of the comma. Man, you know it is bad when people can’t even be bothered to write messages correctly.
