Starting off, thank you very much for taking the time to review my story. Even though English isn’t my mother language, I’m going to be more careful on my grammar and syntax and thank you again for pointing out those errors to me. I capitalized the first letter of the pokemon, however, because I remember that in games and throughout the anime (subbed) they were always putting the names with the first letter capital. Therefore, I did the same. Also, while I really appreciate your review on my first chapter, I want to set it up in a way that I envisioned. Even if most readers will find it boring, there is going to be a handful of people who will appreciate my approach in the story. Again thank you for your review.

What’s bizarre is that I haven’t talked to this person since April. Not sure what motivated them to do this now. Tragically I am blocked, so their definitely real evidence will have to remain a mystery.
Now onto my actual message, [REDACTED for identifying details] Most of the grammar inputs are appreciated as I did read over my own chapter before publishing, but could have missed stuff. Also I added a few things before publishing and it was late at night. Next is the whole dialogue thing. I learned differently from my creative writing teacher so the way I write it is how I learned. Lastly this is a new thing to me as I usually write on Wattpad and I wrote these stories based off of the games and I was trying to stay true to the games so it may sound weird because that’s how I want to tell my story. It’s short because that’s how I wanted it to be.
This next part is kinda just me speaking my own mind so it’s fine if you don’t pay any mind to it. I appreciate the comment, but none of it was actually good. Yes you gave me a lot of editing, but you didn’t tell me what you liked about it thus making it more like you were pointing out my flaws then seeing the good and then adding in the editing tips. That is constructive criticism. I consider those edits very important. If you were able to take something productive from it, that is constructive. I’m sorry you were disappointed, but reviewers are not obligated to say nice things about your story.

I’m sorry, but no, reviewers aren’t “supposed” to do anything. A review is just for someone to express their view on a story. If that view is not positive, they are still allowed to say it. If you want to be on a website with a public comment feature, you have to accept that not everyone is going to say nice things all the time. That’s just how it is.
