“And are you perchance from Germany or northern Europe? You seem a very direct kind of person!”
I don’t care if you’re going to say that your review was “constructive criticism,” because it wasn’t. Also, that was a singular chapter, and pokémon are going to be important to the story when I start writing the plot. Furthermore, it’s never helpful if you’re going to leave an only negative review. You can at least write something positive about it instead of fixing every mistake that I don’t care about.

I’d like to know your definition of constructive criticism.
[Also, that was a singular chapter, and pokémon are going to be important to the story when I start writing the plot.]
Will your plot explain how they can hold things without opposable thumbs?
Thanks for the corrections. havent played the x and y games for a while.
Also, like I said in the description of the story, its a universe where the 11 years olds who we play as failed, so no raquaza.thirdly, definatly gonna use your character. Your character makes a perfect gateway for a plotpoint of a later chapter, but will probably be introduced in this or the next chapter
Except Rayquaza existed independently of the kid protagonists. There was a whole cult of worshippers trying to summon it as well, in ORAS at least. It’s not terribly realistic to say the kid protags failed but the many other forces who had the ability to stop the teams all sat on their hands.

Thank you very much for taking the time and pointing out my mistakes. I will edit the chapter as soon as possible.
Indeed, writing in a foreign language proofs to be a difficult task, but I am eager to learn. You see, my last English lesson was about a year ago, and since then I wasn’t able to improve myself ever since.
You are absolutely right, I had trouble putting my thoughts into words, even though I prepared the story in my native language at first before translating it. I may need to invest more time in looking up sentence structures and grammar rules in order to improve my prose.
Anyway, thanks again for telling me!

Hey, thanks for the advice! I had never given that much thought to formatting dialog, I must say. I’ll try it your way.I wasn’t sure whether to capitalize dedenne and the other pokemon, so I looked at other stories first, that’s how I decided. I guess I looked at the wrong stories! I must say, not capitalizing does look better. By the way, I have a question: if I’m talking about several pokemon from the same species, should I put an “s” at the end (like pikachus, fletchlings…) or not? I haven’t been able to find the rule yet.
And are you perchance from Germany or northern Europe? You seem a very direct kind of person!
Anyway thanks again for the time you took reviewing my work. You’re my very first review, that makes it special :-)
“and now I have a poxy flame on my first chapter”
Is this a fanfiction community thing or is anyone else just as confused as I am by this choice of words?
I think poxy is a typo of “proxy”, because mini-Farla is doing Farla-style reviews, so people think he’s Farla’s sockpuppet, or proxy. And flame is just a disparaging thing.
Hm, yeah. You’re probably right. A typo is a bit more believable than the fanfiction community having unique archaic sounding insult-slang. Unfortunately.
But that actually reminds me. I wanted to ask about that. What is it that actually makes a Mini-Farla not a regular-sized Farla?
We are different people. I am her younger brother. I probably should have made my own username, but it was decided for me since someone else handled the blog’s construction, and I’m terrible at names besides.
Ah, right. I had gathered you were different people already, I just didn’t know what the connection was.
It’s not that bad a name to be given. There are probably worse things you could’ve been saddled with.
I’ve got a twin brother, so in a lot of cases, I’m more used to plural language than singular. I’ve come to outright expect being (sort of) in your situation, even though I’m the older one.
Hey, you’re the one who wanted to be somewhat anonymous in the first place.
So, through total coincidence (seeing a tag far down in the sidebar because of a large comments chain), I read an old guest review for Seven Kingdoms: The Princess Problem (I’m a sucker for problems involving princesses). To refresh everyone’s memory, it appears that the Mini-Farla designation was actually Act’s idea. So that’s where that comes fom, it seems. I wonder why I assumed it was Farla’s.
Their profile says they are from the UK, so actually, I think they meant it! It’s so adorable.
