“This entire argument literally has nothing to do with anything. You’re going on about grammar issues, some BS capitalization, and how the story itself isn’t what you want it to be. Are you serious?
First of all, capitalization with Pokemon is subjective, and your argument is so off it’s not even funny. I really hate to pick someone apart, but my goodness. You CAN’T be serious. And the deviations from the game. I hate to see how you reacted watching Pokemon Origins, because THOSE deviate from the games left, right, and center.
Secondly, you are LITERALLY picking on someone who doesn’t even speak English. All this review tells me is that you watched an episode of I Hate Everything, liked what you saw, and tried to copy paste it in the form of a review that’s so all over the place, I can barely follow it. Not ONE nice thing about this? Do tell me you can do better, cause I’d LOVE to see it.
I know everyone has a right to their own opinion, but THIS…”
What’s really impressive about this is that they were white knighting their friend; the author themselves gave me a very mild response.

ok, i get what you are trying to say. but in the anime, a lot of Pokemon have human instincts, in fact, every one does. Machamp has strength, Hitmon lee, top, and chan fight. I don’t get why I have to say that they’re humans. I do respect your opinion, however. I’m sorry for this since I’m new to all this but thanks for sharing your opinion and I’m glad to fix those errors.

I appreciate your concern and critical review, I admit, there are quite a few holes I need to fix in the story. However, I need to remind you that this story isn’t just reflecting the gameplay elements, but making off the thoughts of the Pokémon the Trainer travelled together with, that’s the point of the story.Nonetheless, I still appreciate for what you think. I’ll try to improve in the next chapter, it’s still nice to have you point out every mistakes I made. But remember, this is just a FanFiction, and it is not to be taken so seriously, it’s merely for fun. Everything doesn’t have to be so accurate as to how the games are. Heck, even the anime doesn’t make sense at some point.
The main point of this story is telling how the Pokémon think about his/her journey with the Trainer, that’s it. But I will take your review into consideration to improve this story.
That’s all I have to say, thank you for your time.

First of all, thank you for reviewing my chapter.Another person has already told me about me needing to correct my summary. I haven’t done so because right now I haven’t decided what my plot is going to be. This was more or less a feeler chapter that will tie into later chapters. You guys have made me realize how bad it probably is interns of drawing attention though and I will correct it.
Also, I take inspiration from aSoIaF and my dream would be to build as complex a world as planetos (I think that’s the name) and haven’t said anything about it being similar to aSoIaF.
About the capitalisation of names yeah, that was sloppiness on my part (along with a few other excuses) but I’ll fix it once I get proper hold of my laptop. (Looked at the thread you sent me about capitalisation and they seem quite passionate about it)
The formats are probably going to be the toughest things for me to handle as I haven’t really given it much thought in anything I’ve done before.
The beta reader forum hasn’t been touched in weeks it seems but I’ll send a pm to someone. It seems like I’ll have to proof read for myself for the next few chapters though. I’ll try my best to improve on my commas.

Also,
“No matter how far away things are, a Pilot’s eyes can see them!” So when we use it on a person or Pokémon (‘s) it’s fine?
Thank you.
I’m not sure what you mean? They were confused about possessive apostrophes. How has the education system failed us so.

I know everyone has a right to their own opinion, but THIS…
I don’t even no what to say. You picked apart a semi-well written story made by someone who doesn’t speak English very well. Congrats. Like, what do you think your going to get out of tearing this story apart? The http://www.Fanfiction.net police aren’t going to come to your aid, that’s for sure.
I’m not sure what you’re trying to accomplish here. TheEzyGuy00 is perfectly capable of defending themselves.

Let your friend defend themselves. I don’t fight proxy wars.secs ago
Something acting on behalf of another, e.g. you speaking for your friend here. More details can be found at merriam-webster dot com.
In politics, a “proxy war” in specific refers to countries fighting each other not through direct attack, but by arming other countries they control or are related to. Fighting proxy wars is often a symbolic act that accomplishes nothing, just as arguing with you over what you think your friend takes offense at is pointless. If the author has a problem with my review, I want to discuss it with them, not with someone speaking over them.
Incidentally, your friend had a quite civil conversation with me about this already. Maybe next time you should try talking to them about the problem first.

Are you an administrator? Or are you just a grammar/Pokemon nazi going around posting the same thing to everyone’s story? Cuz this is the second time I’ve seen you post something just like this. I don’t mind honest criticism on my stories, but I don’t like the way you go about it. As for the whole pokemon vs. Pokemon thing, everyone has their own style. I personally always capitalize Pokemon or the name of a Pokemon species. That’s my style, and I’m sticking with it.

Bad grammar is not a style. Regardless, capitalization arguments go here: https://www.fanfiction.net/topic/11834/55376155/1/Capitalization-Thread
[I don’t mind honest criticism on my stories, but I don’t like the way you go about it.]
How would you prefer I do it?
5m agoIt’s not about grammar. It’s about a divisive convention in a fanbase people can’t agree on. Let them do it as they see fit. It’s just not a big deal.
I prefer honest but constructive criticism that points out both what I did right and what I did wrong, as well as ways to improve what I wrote.
It sounds like you have strong opinions on this subject and should engage the conversation at https://www.fanfiction.net/topic/11834/55376155/1/Capitalization-Thread instead of shouting into a void.
[I prefer honest but constructive criticism that points out both what I did right and what I did wrong, as well as ways to improve what I wrote.]
That is precisely what I did.
I don’t know, why don’t you?
Not all reviews can be positive, and you should not expect them to be. Mine was neutral: I non-judgmentally pointed out objective mistakes, and told you how to fix them. If that’s not encouraging enough for you, that is your problem, not mine.

I’m actually a little surprised it’s taken this long for someone to explicitly accuse me of being her boyfriend.
“I haven’t decided what my plot is going to be . . . and my dream would be to build as complex a world . . .”
While I’m on board with the idea that you can write a good story without plotting very far in advance, I certainly wouldn’t attempt it while trying to make something intended to be complex.
I rarely, if ever, plot anything out very far in advanced beyond a vague notion of an idea for a scene I can’t include at the moment it pops into my head, but then again, I write primarily fluffy slice of life-type stuff. Truth be told, I actually get kind of bored having to actually write out the stuff I plot out ages beforehand.
I think plotting is most important when writing stories that rely on tension, since that’s where bad pacing and poor resolutions really stand out. With fluffy slice-of-life, it’s usually more episodic so you don’t have to worry about long-term pacing, and the feels are more of a draw than the tension.
Eh, I don’t think that’s inherently true either, to both needing long term plans to pace a more tension filled story and slice of life being episodic by nature. A lot of the cliffhangers in Death Note were written with no resolution in mind at the time, to challenge the author to think outside the box to resolve it the next time, and that seemed to work out just fine.
Writing a serialized story is, in general, a very different undertaking than writing even a group of sequels to a book. What you’re referring to is specifically more about the idea that you should have a resolution in mind for a cliffhanger (though it could also apply to complex political intrigue). Try reading an old-school pulp adventure novel that was originally published in multiple serialized parts some time and try telling me those are plotted out well in advanced to keep their tension.
I use to make a plot in advance before writing. At least the important events that are going to happen in the arc.
I also find it helpful, when starting out with a new project, to do a bit of plotting just to see if I have enough material to justify starting actual writing.
Imagine how much this practice would cut down the amount of OT-on-a-journey fic that gets abandoned after three chapters.
I don’t know how you resist answering those people who just want encouragement by telling them that you actually did mention everything you liked about the story, which is why the review is just grammar, and asking if they would prefer to hear explicitly how cliche and overdone their plot was.
Because that would be cruel.
It’s also the truth, isn’t it?
It also accomplishes nothing. If they press me I will say it, but I see no reason to do so otherwise. Tactful silence is kind of its own answer, anyway.
I’m not sure if it is, as far as FFN is concerned. Besides, this guy actually did press you.
