One could say that all these stories where people insist carapaces are more interesting if they’re humans don’t fall under the umbrella of carapace fic, but I’m going to be blackly seething at them either way.

Silver (Slick (Snowman))

This has a perfect dynamic between the two. They can’t just have sex, Snowman has to convince him she’s going to kill him.

It’s interesting that Slick spends the story scared because he knows she should want him alive to torment later, but he can’t shake the thought she’s crazy or impulsive enough to just kill him, but she’s actually planned this entire thing from the start. Because Snowman tends to act that way in service of scaring him or because that’s how Slick acts so it’s an assumption that comes naturally?

Hey, I can add stuff to collections now! Unfortunately it still has to go through bookmarks, so that won’t actually clear my bookmarks but at least I can make all carapace related fic easier to sort. I decree that Felt stuff falls under carapace but Problem Sleuth doesn’t if it takes place in the PS universe and involves no Homestuck characters.

…sadly, that applies to very little.

Hey, now that people can add stuff, how long until someone makes a collection for crappy fic? I think it took a little while for that to occur to people on FFN.

This is impressively sweet for them, and it managed it without going into OOC levels of fluff. Especially bossy it’s-not-like-I-like-all-of-you-or-anything tsun Slick.

Always room in canon to fit more misery in… Poor WV.

The Slayer picks up his sword, keeping a tight grip on the Villein until he’s armed, and then he simply drops WV on the ground.

I like how Jack presents it as sort of mutual and how they’re both so similar and practically buddies really, and ends with a job offer, yet he’s taking pains to prevent WV from being able to fight back the whole time. With anyone else I’d say the talk is there to hurt WV, but with Jack he probably doesn’t even see anything inconsistent there, does he?

Oh, and you’re using nothing but “it’s” this whole story, even when it should be “its”.
