Dragon Quill

So while, as usual, I got sick of doing the romance side of things pretty quick, this year I pawned it off on somebody else! And because now somebody else was going to see them, and because I knew that genre labeling on FFN is rather inconsistent, I said to send back any fics that might be interesting so I could review them in the end.

In which I somehow manage to finish all of this on time.

In which there is yet another of those fic where pokemon segregate themselves based on type. There are so many other ways you could segregate people! So many other options for discrimination! Why won’t writers embrace the diversity of ways to hate diversity? (more…)

Some new stuff! Mostly, same old same old.

Contains list porn and a kid rescuing a pokemon egg that completely coincidentally just so happened to be a riolu. (more…)

Lamarckian evolution in the apocalypse and someone who decided to take the human cast and transplant them into an AU where transforming foxes and other generic magical creatures exist instead. (more…)

In which various people don’t deal with the ideas they raise very well. (more…)

An interesting variant on the Ash-but types of story, with an AU Misty who looks like she’ll end up being an OC but which is still advertised as being pokeshipping.

Wherein I complete all the way up to January 16th. The end of the month is probably going to be tough for me.

Today includes a feudal one set in a world where the king is the person with the strongest pokemon yet somehow politics matters despite such a manifestly obvious path to rulership. (more…)

More plotty stuff today.

Apparently people are really into posting random bits of their stories as stand-alone things these days. (more…)

In which someone accidentally marries their sibling by virtue of contrivance and stupidity.
