A fic engaging with pokemon treatment and ethics! Also, Ash and girls, but one of them is weird because the girl’s side of things is the actual story and yet for some reason the narrative keeps drifting over to Ash doing nothing of note. And yet another PMD fic with a quiz that accidentally brushes up again the possibility of doing something interesting with it.

Today, a story focused around battling that runs into the usual problem of trainers not being half so clever as they’re supposed to be, Steven Stone being unhappy about Devon, someone is into giant bunnies, and a “people and pokemon” thing.

A story about someone who’s getting strongarmed into not being a trainer, a story about someone kicked out of home for wanting to be a trainer, gardevoir continue to be a magnet for people’s shitty thoughts on gender, a lot of wonky phrasing.

More fics brushing up against the “people and pokemon” issue, but all in a different way than usual. Run-on sentences long enough to strangle. A story about a hacked pokemon who still functions like their own person and a story that’s supposedly about pokemon being real where the pokemon are mindless balls of obedience.
