The Other Pokeauthors, Part 62

“You seem to be convinced that the convention of the English language is to not capitalize the names of Pokémon, but this is clearly false. The convention of every single person using the English language to write about Pokémon, except for you and perhaps handful of others on this website, is to capitalize them. While you may not like it, the English language has adopted this new convention to talk about these new entities. It doesn’t frankly matter whether “a Pilot’s eyes” is correct, because we not talking about pilots, we’re talking about Pokémon. To use such a condescending example despite its irrelevance is to discredit yourself as an authority. “

Pokeauthors Special Spotlight: Armchair Therapy 2

An author discovers the blog and has a meltdown because showing what people objectively said is defamation now. They express this concern by posting conspiracy theories about me everywhere, because my critics are hypocrites. I tell them to think positive and stop sending me death threats.

The Other Pokeauthors, Part 61

“I find it very funny that i originally posted this on FictionPress & i was told that Pokemon stuff don’t belong there & i need to post it here & when i do, i’m now getting told that my story isn’t allowed here for my writing style? WTF can a guy post his story he worked on for 2 years & have people review the story itself instead of where its at or how i write it?”

The Other Pokeauthors, Part 60

“And for your final question, it’s because humans are boring. You get nothing from them. What can we do? Just point a knife at someone and yell to get what we want? Why be boring like that? Nobody wants to read a story with nothing special going on and you know that. So before you criticize any person’s idea, if suggest writing something of your own that isn’t so short.”

Also, someone gets really weirdly invested in my opinion on their pokescrewing fic.

[25] The Other Pokereviews, Part 59

Got a lot of stuff today! A Colosseum novelization, a misplaced Shin Megami Tensei fic, not one but two post-apocalyptic stories that aren’t crap, and a whole lot of really messed up stories about caught pokemon.

Also, someone actually uses “Arceusdamn”. I really thought that was a purely hypothetical example but no, fandom can always find a way to disappoint me further.

Pokeauthors Special Spotlight: The Uberteam

Minimal crazy today, just a regular conversation that went long because the author was as longwinded as me. Multiple topics were covered, but the main discussion was about whether or not it made sense for the evil teams to work together.

(This is about the story where Cipher, Magma, and Aqua fuse to create an unstoppable monolith, for context.)

You say s*** about good writers, and yet you post crap like this on here. I couldn’t even finish reading it, I was yawning far too much. It’s boring and pure b***, narcissistic crap.

Do this site a favour and learn to write something that is actually WORTH reading, before you start hating on good writer’s work.

Guest has it right, do the world a favour and follow their advice.

But since I know you won’t, I suggest LEARNING TO WRITE before telling someone else they’re a crap writer.

(Raises middle finger) Go f*** yourself. I’m done here.

Dragon out!

——————-

It tickles me that they felt the need to say “(Raises middle finger)”.

Since they were foolish enough to leave a signed review, I decided to play with them a bit.
